best floor for enclosed trailer?

Hey girls and guys,
just thought id turn to the mass knowledge of the group here.
What do you think would be the best flooring for an enclosed car hauler.
its going to go into 2 drag car trailers.

the existing floor is 3/4 plywood
the trailers are 8ft x 31ft
cars weigh about 2000 pounds, but will need to be jacked up and worked on inside trailer.
there may be small amounts of alcohol race fuel and oil spilled, but cleaned up.

do you think 12' goods commercial vinyl, maybe dark with speckles

or a dark possibly even slip resistant vct?

thanks in advance for your time and help!
eric

Re: best floor for enclosed trailer?

Some years ago the shop I was working out of got a contract to put radial rubber tile in a chain of quick change oil and lube shops. I think they projected 50 of them over a two year period. After 3-4 there was some bubbling and it was blamed on the adhesive. So they went to epoxy adhesive, another 10 and the tile were still bubbling. After testing and testing and argument after argument it was discovered it was the small amounts of 'brake fluid' that was spilled as they topped off the fluid levels.
The change was made to an epoxy coating shortly thereafter.

So I don't think vinyl or tile would be a good choice for a trailer with an "alky" drag car. Often that alcohol is "spiced" with a liberal dose of nitromethane. One can only imagine what that will do.

I think that contact between the rubber tires and the vinyl could leave brown marks due to a chemical reaction. The brown marks might not be noticable if you use brown vinyl, but it should probably be heat welded. The jack may leave impressions in the vinyl when its jacked up. VCT would probably crack. The floor probably should be slip resistant due the spills. Depending on the budget, slip resistant aluminum tiles may be an option and it would look really cool.
