Congoleum Ultima and radiant heated floor

I am preparing to order through my contractor Ultima Congoleum flooring. We have concrete slab as our base. The Ultima is supposed to be installed over electrical radiant heating. Do you have any experience/suggestions about how this is supposed to be done? Should there be a "skim coat" under and over the radiant mats? Should it be a full glue down? Is there a time frame advisable between putting in the radiant heating and laying the Ultima? any info would be appreciated.

are you talking about the Mohawk radiant mats. They kind of look like alluminum foil to me. If that is what you are talking about I thought that they were only for ceramic tile. I have never worked with them so i could be wrong.

I am talking about the electric radiant heating such as Warmly Yours and other similar products. They look like a plastic type mesh with the heating wires looping through them. They typically are laid and covered with a thin layer of some sort of cement like product. Then the tile, laminate, carpet, vinyl, etc. is laid over that. But this is just a general explanation. I have not used any of these yet. Hence my question on this forum.

You already answerd your own question about the skim coat. I would full spread, cause that is the only way I do it.
