Re: Earthscapes IVC?
Can they qlue it down? I have a tear in mine-5 weeks old. Sitting in my chair at the dinner table, I grabbed as wide as I could and slid the table toward me and didnt know I tore it until days later. Carpet 1 install, great people so far. Waiting on rep to come out and inspect. When they showed it to us at the store the sales rep was twisting it trying to tear it and it just went back to its original form, very nice. I don't think it should tear this easy. Table has no metal or sharp sliders on it. I see that when you have something like a table it leaves dimples or impressions and the object will get stuck in those indentations and since it is loose laid it essentially moves. Comments?

Re: Earthscapes IVC?
Sometimes, depending on the size of the job, the only warrantable way to install a fiberglass floor (IVC) is to glue it.
Yes it CAN be patched with little to no problems.

As with any type cushion vinyl, you should have been advised to install floor protectors under all the furniture. I think this is an instance when sales wasn't doing a service they are suppose to be doing. Always use felt pad or teflon slides if the furniture is going to be moved across the flooring. It is relatively tough as far as cushion vinyl goes.

Re: Earthscapes IVC?
Actually, earthscapes can be loose lay or full spread. Although they have changed their preference for method of install. I have in in two rooms in my house and its ok in my opinion. It has pros & cons, but what floor doesn't?
