Commercial goods, Residential setting.

For those consumers searching for a commercial type product that also lends itself in appearance for a residential setting, I thought we here at TFP could name and link a few of the products we see and work with everyday that might fit this catagory, and lead some searching consumers in the right direction.
Ill Start;
These are a few I have worked with that I would consider.
Teknoflor Commercial Sheet Vinyl Flooring
Forbo flooring systems | Vinyl
Modern
And of course Linoleum,Yes The Real Stuff
Forbo flooring systems | Linoleum
Linoleum Flooring from Armstrong
Linoleum IMO has stood the test of time, and has nothing to prove in the way of performance. For an Idea of the possibilities of what can be done with a Linoleum floor check this link out;

Others insights, and choices will be much appreciated im sure as there are many choices out there for the shopping consumers.

I would have put either Forbo or Armstrong lino in my own home (kitchen, dining room and 1/2 bath) if my wife didn't outrank me and insist on porcelain tile. Second choice would be Armstrong Connection Corlon.
Armstrong Commercial Flooring: Sheet / Connection Corlon

And with both lino and the corlon you can do beautiful, decorative work with a few different colors and some imagination.

Great point Brian. Corlon in skilled hands can also be a unique/custom floor in a residence.

I have put Corlons in residential homes for years, but have never had the privilege of being creative with it.

I have though done some fun designs with Fine Fields though. This was sadly pre-digital and I did not take my good camera to the job very often.

Looks great Hook , except where you stepped in the tar and tracked your footprints all over the floor .

Forbo has some nice looking floors that I think would go well in alot of modern styled homes. Teknoflor has some nice looking wood grain patterns (think of konecto). I would go for a commercial vinyl in a new home where I wanted it to last forever. I mean, I'm going over old battleship that has been down forever and it still looks great it just isn't in style anymore.
