Thread viewing order

Any way you can make the posts viewed or to view, come up with the last post 1st and the 1st post last? Just so you dont have to scroll through all the previous posts if you have visited the thread before. Put an option in somewhere on whichg way to view it.

If you look in the last post box, there's an arrow to the right of the name of the last one to post. Click on that arrow and the last post comes up. I hope that's what you're looking for.

Re: Thread viewing order

That's right, what Darol said, but it's to the left of the topic title.. There is a button to click in the thread list that shows when a topic has been replied to since your last visit. To go to the first post you haven't read, click the button.

Let me know if that doesn't work for you, or if that isn't what you're talking about.

Damn, I am really sorry I haven't made the members more aware of some of these things. I forget sometimes that there are some who aren't as familiar with the forum software as me - I just take it for granted. My apologies. I will try to post some tips and features of the software topics soon.

How does it know what I have read and what I haven't read? You storing cookies/something on my puter? Or it stored somewhere on yours?

Although all of the info on this page is important, the third paragraph answers your particular question:
