Gundlach Installation Tools For Resilient Flooring, Carpeting, Plastic Laminate, Ceramic Tile & Stone
Beno J. Gundlach invented and designed an asphalt shingle cutting machine in 1927 and was the start of the tool manufacturing company. In the 30s, Beno was asked to adapt the shingle cutter to the newly introduced asphalt floor tiles. This was the beginning of the floorcovering installation tool manufacturing for the Gundlach company.
Linoleum rollers were added in 1955 and many other tools followed. The Beno J. Gundlach company now has one of the most extensive and diverse collection of tools for flooring installation in the world. It occupies a 60,000 square foot facility in Belleville, Illinois, and ships its tools to distributors all over the United States.
