Ceramic Tile Multi Spacer Review, by Kevin Trevathan
Kevin used these Multi-Spacers on a tile shower project, and found them to be very useful over the standard spacers that are made of soft rubber. This review is by a ceramic and stone pro and member of The Floor Pro Community, Kevin Trevathan. The best thing about MultiSpacer is that five different sizes are incorporated in only two spacers. One spacer has a 1/8" end thickness, the other end has 3/16" and 1/4". Changing from 3/16" to 1/4" is achieved by rotating the spacer 1/4 turn. The other spacer has 1/16" thickness on one end and 1/32" on the other. Stacking spacers allows you to customize the tile spacing. Kevin shares his review of the Multi-Spacer. Read this review before your next tile project.
Vinyl Edger Tool Review, by Barry Carlton
Barry sees this as a staple in the flooring professionals toolbox. He found that it will not only work well on the softer residential materials, but also on some of the commercial inlaids, such as Mannington Biospec and Armstrong Corlons. This review is by a valued member of The Floor Pro Community, Barry Carlton. The Vinyl Edger is a very user friendly tool and nearly foolproof. With a tool-less design and no moving parts, it is easily used by both right and left handed people. The tool is designed to produce a net fit, which is perfect for many of the newer adhesives on the market that will not allow for a snug pressure fit. I believe this is a perfect tool for the DIY market... Barry offers this review of the Vinyl Edger. Read this review before you make your buying decision.
Seamer Down Now Review, by Chris Sheafer
The Seamer Down Now pulls the thermoplastic up into the backing and cools as your seam is being made. Save time, increase production, do a better job - and you can take that to the bank. This review is by a contributing member of The Floor Pro, Chris Sheafer.Seams that have been run on a row, but are bowed in and out, are done much quicker without having to use stay nails or worry about the section you just finished either gapping or overlapping due to adjustments to the area you're working on. Chris shares his thoughts on the Seamer Down Now. Read this review before you make your buying decision.
Ultimate Scraper Blade's Spud Bar Review, by Jim McClain
A bold new tool to help you save time and money is reviewed by Jim McClain....this is one explosive tool. It blasts through tile and shreds its way through glue-down carpet at an alarming rate. It will even demolish hardwood flooring and ceramic tile. It's powered by human tenacity and a little bit of sweat. The effort needed though is buffered by the heft of this battering ram. The Ultimate Scraper Blade Spud Bar weighs in at an impressive 25 pounds. It's pure American Steel with a deep black crinkle finish powder coating. Jim offers up his opinion on the latest in scraper blade technology. Read this review and then discuss it in the Articles Discussion Forum.
